Credit Valley Explorer is a tour train operation billed as ‘Southern Ontario’s most scenic rail tour.’ Using 1950s-era equipment, it provides guests with a three-hour journey back in time as the train follows the rail line between Orangeville and Brampton. Sightseeing tours, charters, brunch, dinner and themed trips are all part of the company’s offering.
Nework was originally contracted to design the Explorer logo in 2005. Over the years that followed we also created a number of original marketing posters designed to highlight key elements of the tour train experience.
In 2014, we were asked to develop a fresh identity for the operation. The new look employs a series of distinctive crests that are designed to not only complement existing marketing materials, but also adapt easily to application on the rail equipment itself. Additional ‘exploration’ of the brand is carried out by the client themselves in the form of various collateral, print ads, and the Explorer website.
